A lady in my writing group is feeling poorly so I thought this Drabble might cheer her up, and if you're feeling a little blue at this moment, it's for you as well.

The Long Wait

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a lovely lady. She didn’t feel very well because no one spoke to her. The fairest of all, the kindest of all, the gentlest of all, she was, alas, the saddest of them all.

And then she heard a voice.

“Hello lady.”

“What me, do you mean me?”

“You are late.”

“What?”

“You’ve been in Limbo.”

“Where’s that?”

“Don’t you know?

“No, but don’t go away, I don’t have any friends.”

“Don’t worry, everyone will love you soon.”

“They will?”

“Listen to me bud, it’s time to blossom.”
