The Three - Rocking - Little Piggies
Once upon a time, three little pigs lived in a world of happiness. Alas, their parents were not so happy. They regretted buying the piglets a complete rock orchestra set. The twin guitars were melodic enough but their youngest piglet drove them out of the house with his constant banging on the drums.
It was time for them to move and find their way in the big wide world.
Mummy Pig inhaled deeply, crossed her fingers and spoke slowly. “It is time for you to leave the family Pig-Pen. The world of rock and roll is yours for the taking. Knock them dead and come home as the greatest Pig band ever. And remember, be careful of the big bad wolf.”
I hope they improve, she thought.
Daddy Pig stayed silent, his mind wandering into the future.
We could be the parents of a famous Pig Band, he pondered.
"I can't stop worrying, we have to watch over them, Mummy."
"At least we agree on that, Daddy Pig. They are young, impetuous, and at times, very stupid."
It didn’t take long before the three Pig rockers built their own homes.
Little Pig speedily built his house from straw. "Now mister wolf can’t eat me," he boasted.
To celebrate his efforts, Little Pig banged away on his set of drums.
After seeing Little Pig building a house of straw, Middle Pig took his time and made a stronger house from thick sticks. ‘Now, that is a special house. The big bad wolf won’t be able to eat me.’ He played his guitar to the heavy rock beat his brother was laying down.

All the smaller animals, the squirrels, the mice and the rabbits heard a far away noise and it was coming closer. They ran for cover but as Little Pig and Middle Pig were playing so loudly, they didn’t hear or see a thing.
“You’d better be ready when the big bad wolf comes,” Big Pig shouted over their loud music.
With their snouts held high and their upturned trotters giving him the sign, Big Pig knew they wouldn’t listen. His heart was heavy, his mind fearful. Reluctantly, he turned away and picked up his guitar. Fearing the worst, a single tear dropped from his eye, yet the solo was the best he’d ever played.
Hidden in the undergrowth, Mummy and Daddy Pig continued to watch their offspring. Mummy shook, she had a bad feeling growing inside her and there was nothing she could do.
Unfortunately, it didn’t take long before the deadly wolf arrived. With little effort, he blew Little Pig’s house down.
Little Pig squealed and ran to his brother’s house, but the wolf huffed and he puffed and blew the stick house down too.
There was only one house standing so Little Pig and Middle Pig ran to Big Pig’s place.
The wolf howled and the three pigs stuck their trotters in their ears. No matter how hard the wolf huffed and puffed he couldn’t blow the brick house down. But this was a cunning wolf and he had a plan. He would break into the house by the chimney.
Unknown to the Big Bad Wolf a pot of boiling water was simmering over a fire. He fell, screamed and died.
Big Pig told his brothers they were very stupid and very lucky. With their heads held low, Little Pig and Middle Pig promised not to be lazy ever again. They were sorry.
Big Pig picked up his guitar. His brothers followed suit.
“Finally, we are a Pig Rock Band. What shall we call ourselves?”
“Trotters Together, suggested Little Pig.”
“How about Pigs United, countered Middle Pig.”
Big Pig shook his head. “What about, The Three Porkers?”
“The Three Porkers,” they honked in unison as the first bars of a classic pig track rent the silence.
Laying in a dense bush near to Big Pig’s Pad, Mother Pig turned to Daddy Pig. “What a horrible noise. If you want us to stay married, don’t you ever invite them to come home.”
