SPECTRUM By Frances
Frances has sent me a wonderful and moving poem and I'm very proud to share it with you.
SPECTRUM
I see myself in shades of red
With dancing flames about my head
‘Til orange sunset closes in
And calms the raging storm within.
The yellow rays of golden sun
Illuminate the things I’ve done,
But then my eyes turn to green
In envy of the things I’ve seen.
In blackest moods I feel no pain –
I need your love to keep me sane,
But blue’s the colour of today,
My sadness will not go away!
Love to all,
Frances
And here is my response to, hopefully, cheer her up
The sun is out
The sky so bright
Forget the dark
And the sky at night
So delve inside
Look to your heart
And hold your nose
As you release one huge fart.
Love to all,
Rick.
